Proof of Heaven

A friend recently recommended the book "Proof of Heaven" by Eben Alexander, M.D.  An easy read with short chapters.  My kind of book.

Dr. Alexander is a neurosurgeon who spent a week in a coma, miraculously recovered, and tells his story of his near death experience.  He is telling his story within his own scientific community, apparently without censorship.  I don't know what it really takes to blow scientific perspective into next Sunday, but Alexander is giving it a go.   Good for him.

The energy of heaven comes shining through his gripping story.  The message he received is simple.  "You are loved, deeply cherished, forever. There is nothing you have to fear. You will always be loved, and there's nothing that you can do wrong."   I was stopped in my tracks by the jewels I found within the book's pages.   For those of you who are energy sensitive, you will enjoy the book's energy as well.  I sat and contemplated it all over a steaming cup of chai.  It was a delicious reading experience.  Not taxing on the brain, but opening of the heart.

Critics will always be critics.  Naysayers will always be naysayers.  Let them have their say.  In the meantime,  I suggest you give the book a read and see what you experience.    Here is the link to his interview with Oprah.
